Are we seeking the expansion of our chests through the same divine means or through worldly matters?

Allah reminded His Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam of His favor and blessing by saying: “Have We not opened your chest for you”.

This is reference to granting him self-confidence, contentment, and boldness. The question is: what did Allah open His Messenger’s chest with? Was it with wealth, power, women, fame and glory or with something else? Allah did that through guiding him and filling His chest with Iman and total submission to Allah. Are we seeking the expansion of our chests through the same divine means or through worldly matters?
