Precious days coming to an End

By Guest Author Nourin Nafih

We were all busy preparing for days for the month of Ramadan, and now we have reached the last few days of the golden month.

I must say I  didn’t even realise how the days passed away and I am sure most of us have the same opinion.

All were like “it’s summer and long days, fasting is gonna be difficult”, but suprisingly many of us were  given good health  Allhamdullila and Allah made our fasting easy.

We all love Ramadan and are now feeling blue that we have reached its last few days because we do not know if we will get to see another Ramadan in our life.

May Allah (swt) give us the chance to do ibadat next year as well.

It is also time for us to evaluate ourselves, if we really did what we wanted to. If not there is still days in which we can accomplish it.

Although we know the importance of last ten days, we still tend to back off a little, because we feel more and more tired as the days passes. Here are a few tips to energize youself.

* Eat nutritious and healthy snacks for ifthar.

*  If your planning for itikaf make sure you make up for the sleep day time in order to avoid exhaustion.

* While relaxing try to hear to some quran (with translation) or good lectures on your gadgets.

*Try reciting important duas in your mind even while doing your daily chores.

*Let us make up our minds not to let go off the night of power. Do your prayers and other spiritual deeds everyday even if it is little so as to make sure we don’t lose rewards of Layalatul qadr.

*Try avoiding shopping all night and coming home tired with no energy to stand in front of your Lord.

* Finally, remember all your hard work is seen by Allah. That thought will increase your energy both physically and spiritually.

Whatever said and done I am sure we are all gonna miss this month of Ramadan badly once its gone.

Lets all make dua together to increase our knowledge and be obedient Muslims even after Ramadan.
