One Response to The hardness of the heart

  1. Muhammad Elijah says:

    Assalaamu ‘Alaikum waRahmatullaahi waBarakaatuh
May Salaam(Peace), Allaah’s Rahmah(Mercy) and His Barakaat(Blessings) be upon you

Of course, as much as , we over-sleep we don’t wake up for Fajr or Tahajjud.
When we over-talk about Dunyaa, we forget to talk or listen about Allaah.
When we over-eat we don’t fast other than Ramadaan.
When we socialize with people who have forgotten Allaah and death, we tend to forget as well, so if brothers don’t find Dhaakireen(men who remember Allaah a lot by lips and heart) and sisters don’t find Dhaakiraat(women who remember Allaah a lot by lips and heart), they should keep alone and do Dhikr of Allaah.

Dhikr of Allaah softens hearts, while sins make it hard.
