Pain doesn’t feel good when it
happens, but Allah knows that it may be the best thing for us at
that moment. And sometimes we may be praying so hard for stuff,
and Allah knows how bad it is for us. Allah knows and we do not.
Trust in Allah.
With best wishes to see you succeed at the highest level!

Assalaamu ‘Alaikum waRahmatu(A)llaahi waBarakaatuh
“but Allah knows that it may be the best thing for us at
that moment.”
Similar to the Du’aa of Rasool sall Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam I read and memorized at university inscribed on a chart in one of my labs.If I am not forgetting it is recorded by Imaam al-Baihaqee rahimahu(A)llaah who died in year 458 after Hijrah.Shu’ab-ul-Eemaan(literally Branches of Eemaan) by Imaam al-Baihaqee rahimahu(A)llaah is very famous.
Allaahumma inne as-aluka-sSihhata
Yaa Allaah! I ask you to bestow upon me Sihhah, that is,Health
wal-’Iffata
Yaa Allaah! I ask you to bestow upon me ‘Iffah, that is,premarital and extramarital abstinence
wal-Amaanata
Yaa Allaah! I ask you to bestow upon me Amaanah, that is,quality of being fair and honest in social dealings(Precisely what the Mushrikeen of Makkah appreciated about Muhammad sall Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam by calling him al-Ameen.)
wa-Husn-al-Khuluqi
Yaa Allaah! I ask you to bestow upon me the Beauty of Khuluq, that is,an all-encompassing notion of ethics, mannerisms, etiquettes, family and social conduct, behavior
war-Ridaa-bil-Qadr
Yaa Allaah! I ask you to bestow upon me the Contentment with al-Qadr, that is, whatever good or bad that happens to us is from Allaah.
Our responsibility is:
i) to improve our Qalb(Heart) by having Eemaan an purging it of all spiritual diseases like Nifaaq,Riyaa, Love of Dunyaa,Hasad(Jealousy),Ghaflah(Forgetting Allaah).
ii)to improve our A’maal(literally Actions) which refers to those Actions which are prescribed for Muslims by Allaah and His Rasool sall Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam like Salaat,Sawm,Zakaat,Hajj,Jihaad.
Allaah doesn’t look towards our external appearances and our wealth, but towards our Quloob and A’maal.
